Why Dr. Ovadia became a periodontist
Dr. Ovadia’s interest in becoming a periodontist started when he was a child helping out in his father’s dental practice. Perinatology is the branch of obstetric medicine which deals with the care of pregnant women and their babies at the period of time just before and after childbirth.
Dr. Ovadia did his postgraduate training at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in Boston. In 2010 he earned his certification as a periodontist and graduated with a Master of Science degree in oral biology.
